The once glorious center of our colony. It stood as the tallest tree in the forest, fed by sacrifices of at first small creatures like moles, and later by creatures as large as bears. Twisted and rotted through, it has served as the core of our colony since the first spore landed there.
Now we have planted it anew and already it has moved past the size of insects, and we have begun offering it small snakes and moles. It grows even faster than we had hoped. The strength of the colony spreads to it and pushes it higher. Soon it will be more gloriously twisted than any of us could have first imagined.
